2Men2Van LTD offers customers the opportunity to view free quotations from transportation service subcontractors across the United Kingdom.

Customers wishing to use 2Men2Van LTD service acknowledge having read and agreed to the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, please do not proceed to use the site.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit or exclude our liability to you for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that may not, under the English law, be limited or excluded. Subject to this, in no event shall we be liable to you for any business losses, damages, or injuries sustained during any removal related task, any liability we do have for losses you suffer is strictly limited to losses that were reasonably foreseeable.

Subject to the liability which we accept above, please note:

- our aggregate liability to you arising our of or in connection with this agreement or use of the website shall not exceed the fees paid by you for your use of the service in preceding 1 month; and

- we shall not be liable in contract, tort or otherwise howsoever arising out of or in connection with this agreement or use of the website for any indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of profits, data revenue, business opportunity, anticipated savings, goodwill, or reputation.

- Please be aware that individual subcontractors on the platform may be subject to their own Terms and Conditions in relation to the requirements of their insurers.

Why you Should Read These Terms

- Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before you place the booking with 2Men2Van LTD.

- These Terms include, but are not limited to, explaining who we are, our services and the services provided by our subcontractors.

- Each clause of these Terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining clauses remain in full effect.

Using the Website

- Use of and access to our website is allowed on a temporary basis only. We will not be liable if for any reason the site is unavailable for any period of time. We also reserve the right to amend or withdraw the service we provide on our entire site, or any part of it without prior notice.

- Customers must be at least 18 years of age to use 2Men2Van LTD and must provide up-to-date, valid, and complete contact information with a valid email address.

- Please be aware that you are responsible for making all arrangements required for you to access the website and you are also responsible for ensuring that all persons accessing the website via your internet connection and aware of and comply with these terms and conditions.

- You may use the website only for lawful purposes and not in any way that is fraudulent, unlawful or breaches any relevant law or regulation, whether local, national, or international.

- You must not knowingly transmit any date or material that contacts viruses, or any other harmful programs designed to adversely affect the operation of any computer software or hardware.

- You must not duplicate, copy or resell any part of our website in direct contravention of these Terms and Conditions.

- We retain the right to determine whether there has been a breach of our Terms and Conditions through your use of our website and when a breach has occurred we may take any action we deem to be appropriate.

- We may revise these Terms and Conditions at any time amending this page. Please therefore, check this parge from time-to-time to take notice of any changes as they are binding upon you when they are made. Sofe of the provisions contained in these Terms and Conditions may also superseded by notices or provisions published elsewhere on our site.

- We update our website constantly, however in the event that any of the material on our site is out of date, we are under no obligation to update such material. We may temporarily suspend access to our website, or close it undefinedly, in order to make any necessary updates.

Intellectual Property Rights

- We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property right in our website and in the material published on it. Copyright laws are in force and all such rights are reserved.

- You must not use any part of any material on our website for commercial purposes without obtaining a license to do so from us.

- You may print off one copy and may download extract of any pages from our site for your personal reference, but you must not modify the paper or digital copies you have printed off or downloaded any way. - You shall not acquire or use the words “2Men2Van” or any variant that includes the words “2Men2Van” as a trademark or any related intellectual property.

Jurisdiction

- The jurisdiction of the English courts shall apply in exclusivity over any claim arising from, or related to, a visit our website. We also retain the rights to bring proceedings against you for breach of these Terms and Conditions in your country of residence or any other relevant country.

- These Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of, or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed with the law of England and Wales.

Calls Recording

- Calls may be recorded for training and quality purposes, and we reserve the right to use these records in the unfortunate event that a dispute arises.

What we do

- We aim to provide a pier-to-pier sharing platform where you (“the customer”) and businesses which provide transport services (“service provider”) can find each other.

- 2Men2Van LTD may provide transport services directly, on that occasion accounts are clearly marked by using our company name.

- It is up to you to select the service provider based on the service you require.

- Please note that with regard to any transaction made between you and your chosen service provider, the resulting legal contract is between you both and not between you and 2Men2Van LTD.

Feedback

- For each transaction you can, if you wish, rate your service provider by leaving Feedback on our site and are permitted to leave one review per booking.

- You are not permitted to threaten your service provider with negative feedback in order to obtain goods or service not included in the initial quote for the job.

- In the event of negative feedback being left for a service provider, 2Men2Van LTD reserve the right to investigate the circumstances surrounding such feedback and modify or not publish the feedback if it is deemed to be unfounded negative feedback. This will be done without your prior consent.

- In event of a dispute (internal or legal) between customer and service provider, no feedback will be published on the subcontractor account until the dispute is resolved. In the event of the dispute being resolved in the service provider favour, 2Men2Van LTD reserves the right to withhold publication of feedback if it is then deemed to be unfounded negative feedback.

Fees

- Our site is a free site for customers. A deposit is paid when a service provider is booked by the customer by credit or debit cards. The balance is then paid to the service provider in cash at the conclusion of the job. Alternatively, the entire cost of the job can be paid at the outset with noting being left due to the service provider on completion of the job.

- When booking with us you are booking for one trip only. If you wish the service provider, make more than one trip for you, you must contact them directly, they will charge you roundtrip fee.

- Additional stops are not included within the booking. If you wish to add any stops between the loading and unloading location, he must contact service provider directly, they will charge you additional stop fee.

- Customers are responsible for the payment of additional costs if a booking exceeds the time booked for. The service provider’s half hour rate for additional time is displayed booking confirmation emailed to you. The service provider make you aware when your booking is about to exceed the time booked for and at that point, if you confirm that you wish to the service provider continue and complete the booking.

- Customers are responsible for payment of additional costs if they omit a relevant stair charge from their booking and subsequently require the service provider to carry the goods up/down stairs. The stair charge is clearly visible on the Quote form as you have required to make a selection in this regards before being able to proceed with the booking.

- Customers are responsible for payment of the booking, together with overtime any other incidentals at the conclusion of the booking.

- Should the service provider will be required to wait for that payment, their half hourly rate for the booking will apply as well.

- All payments directly to the service provider needs to be made by cash. Any other methods of payment (such as card or bank transfer) are not possible unless the service provider offering that option.

- Service providers are responsible for the collection of the payment and provide receipt for that.

Cancellations

- If you cancel your booking your booking more than 7 days prior to arrival time, we will provide you full payment refund.

- Cancelation made less than 7 days, but more than 72 hours before arrival time will be charged a 30% cancelation fee.

- Any cancelations made less than 72 hours before arrival; we will not provide any refund.

- There is no “colling off” period after booking and our cancelation policy applies immediately the booking is confirmed.

Amendments

- Amendments made more than 72 hours before arrival are free of charge.

- Amendments made less than 72 hours before arrival will be charged 30% amendment fee.

Insurance

All service providers are required to hold valid driving licence and motor insurance. Also there are three insurance levels that our service providers are required to hold to operate on our system which are clearly displayed on their profiles of our website and should be read before confirming a booking.

- Three-star level service providers has no Goods in Transit and no Public Liability insurances. In the event of any damage of to your items, property, or injury to any persons, 2Men2Van LTD and relevant service provider accept no liability for any damage or injuries sustained during the related task.

- Four-star level service providers has Goods in Transit insurance up to 10 000.00 GBP, but no Public Liability insurance cover. In the event of injury to any people, 2Men2Van LTD and relevant service provider accept no liability for any injury sustained during the related task. In the event of any damage or injury to your items or property during the related task, you should initially contact the service provider directly who will advise on how to proceed. Please be aware that Goods in Transit covers property only for damage whilst in transit in the vehicle.

- Five-star level service providers has Goods in Transit up to 10 000.00 GBP and Public Liability up to 1 000 000.00 GBP insurance covers. In the event of any damage or injury to your items, property, or people during the related task, you should initially contact the service provider directly, who will advice on how to proceed. Please be aware that the Goods in Transit insurance covers property only for damage whilst in transit in the vehicle. Please be aware that the Public Liability insurance covers does not cover you for additional requirements you may have in terms of moving goods through the windows, over the balconies and the like.

Your responsibilities

Information and other materials posted on our website are not intended to amount to advice upon which reliance should be placed. We disclaim all liability and responsibility arising from any reliance placed on such material by any user of our website.

- Van Sizes
It is entirely the customer’s responsibility to choose the correct size vehicle. Our Customer Services Team can give you all relevant measurements to help you make the right choice or you can view our FAQ.

- Parking
Suitable parking arrangement for the service provider will be made by you, the customer at the own expense. These include, but are not limited to, suspended bays, parking permits, width restrictions and parking distances from the premises. In the event of the fine or penalty due the failure of this arrangement, customer is obligated to cover the payment.

- Stairs
Please note that our service providers have a stair charge if you require them to carry your goods up or down any flights of stairs during your booking. For this reason, during the booking process, you are asked to select (drop down box) if there are stairs at either loading and unloading address, and if so, how many flights. A a flight is classed as anything more than 8 consecutive steps. That is including stairs to the entrance into the property and mezzanine level as well. Please be aware that if there is a lift that can be used to transport your goods, stair charge does not apply.

- Packing
It is the customer’s responsibility to pack everything properly (unless the packing services are requested). 2Men2Van LTD and our service providers does not accept responsibility for damage or breakage caused by poor packing.

- Fridge freezers
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all fridge freezers are fully defrosted (2Men2Van TLD and their service providers are not liable for their contents) and all other appliances must be completely dry with no residual fluid.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all fridge freezers are fully emptied (so as to lessen the weight) and free from any kitchen casing/unit fitting.

After a fridge or freezer is delivered and put in place, we suggest that it is left for 24 hours to settle before it is powered back on.

- Washing machines/Dishwashers
It is customer’s responsibility to un-plumb washing machines/dishwashers prior to our arrival. Service providers on the website are man and van services not plumbers. Although they may be prepared to uninstall a washing machine or dishwasher or reinstall a washing machine or dishwashers at your specific request, they take no responsibility for this. This is done as a goodwill gesture only and is not a service we offer.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all washing machines/dishwashers are free from any kitchen casing/unit fitting.

- Dismantling of Furniture, etc.
It is the customer’s responsibility to dismantle items before our arrival This is to include any unit, system, furniture, or beds, unless this service has been requested in the good description box, on the reservation page. Our service providers are obligated to carry basic tools only (such as screwdriver, allen keys, spanner keys).

Access to the property.

- It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure all items are able to be moved into the new property (for example, wardrobe, bed, sofa, etc).

- The customer responsible secure in the property all risky things which could be dirty, scratchable, or high risk to be damaged (that includes, walls, carpets, wooden floors, pendants and doors).

- The service providers are not removing the shoes due the health and safety.

- Our service providers are not insured for removing any windows or making new entrances to the property.

- In the event of something is not fitting inside, the service provider has a right to leave it into the front of the property.

Customer Delays

If any delay is caused by the customer (e.g. everything is not packed, waiting for keys, incorrect address, etc) our service providers reserve the right to add an extra cost to the final bill.

Completion of booking

It is the customer’s responsibility to check and ensure that the interior of the vehicle is empty of all goods before the service provider leave the final destination. We are not responsible for any items left in the vehicle and you agree that you are liable for any cost incurred by the service provider in returning your items after a booking has been completed.

Customer Conduct

No abuse will be tolerated to our staff, service providers and other people related to 2Men2Van LTD.

If the service provider is forced to terminate a job because of abuse from a customer, the customer will be still charged in full. We retail the right to cancel a booking in the event that the customer is abusive to our staff, service providers and other people related to our company.

No complaint will be handled by 2Men2Van LTD if the customer is abusive to our staff and in this event the customer will be required to liaise with the service provider directly.

Recycling Centre

If you require the service provider to attend your local recycling centre, it is your responsibility to check with the centre you intend to use that a waste disposal licence is not required. In general our service providers will not carry on these. Also, please check in there will be an additional fee for the van entering and using the centre’s facilities, as you will be responsible for this charge.

Please note: if you require the service provider to dispose of garden waste at a recycling centre, the wase will need to be bagged up so it is able to be disposed of without dirtying the interior of the van.

Traveling in the vehicle

We cannot guarantee that the client will be able to travel in the van. The service providers are not obliged to take a passenger to the van. If the service provider offering this kind of facility this is only their gesture of goodwill.

Tolls

Client is responsible to cover all tolls (such as Congestion Charge Zone, Ultra Low Emission Zone, Clean Air Zone, Ferries, and others). All charges for the tolls needs to be paid directly to the service provider.

Links on our Website

Our website contains links to other websites and resources provided by third parties. These links are provided for your information only and we have no control over the contents of those sites or resources. We therefore accept no responsibility for those sites or resources or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

No Agency

Nothing contained herein shall create, or deemed to create, any agency, joint venture or partnership relationship between 2Men2Van LTD and you whatsoever and you should not hold yourselves out as implying any such relationship with us.

Privacy

- Your privacy is very important to us, and we will only distribute your personal details to trusted members and third-party companies. Any details we hold for you are held on an encrypted server and will be deleted after 6 months.

- By using our website, you warrant that all information provided by you is up-to-date and accurate.

- We will only use your personal information in the following ways:
- when arranging service providers to physically carry out your move and to provide the services expressly stated as the obligations of 2Men2Van LTD in these terms;

- to process your payment for the services;

- as you agreed upon booking with us, to give you information about similar services that we provide;

- we will only give your personal information to [other] third parties where the law either requires or allows us to do.

Disputes

- Any disputes with regards to any man and van removal related jobs or tasks, should be raised with 2Men2Van LTD, in writing, so we can investigate fully. By using our website and booking platform you agree to release 2Men2Van LTD from all claims of every nature, known or unknown, and we will not be connected in any way with such dispute.

- Even if we are not responsible, we will always try and help if something goes wrong with your booking and will try and resolve the problem in line with our advertised Complaints Procedure. All complaints should be made in writing via email to info@2men2van.co.uk so that they can then be raised with the service provider. - We will do everything we reasonably can to carry out our side of this agreement, but there may be times when we cannot perform our obligations because:
- laws' regulations or a government authority stops us;

- circumstances beyond our control that we cannot remedy, i.e. extreme weather; road closures; driver illness; failure of mobile networks.

Non-Payment

- We reserve the right to impose immediate temporary or permanent withdrawal of your right to use our website.

- We reserve the right, upon non-payment to a service provider, to register your details with various blacklists and credit reference agencies.

- We also reserve the right to disclose any information to law enforcement authorities as we deem appropriate.

- We do not accept bank chargebacks and in the event of such, will pursue legal enforcement to reclaim our fee.

- We do not store credit/debit card details as standard, however, we reserve the right to recharge a debit/credit card in the event of non-payment.

Limitations of transport

2Men2Van LTD and their service providers are not transporting particular kind of goods:

- Live animals

- All kind of Hazardous materials

- Any dangerous goods mentioned on the ADR regulation

- Weapons

- Pianos

- Vehicles (cars, motorcycles, scoters)

- Other prohibited items and substances

Self-Loading

If the customer chooses a self-loading service, they are solely liable for any damage to their items. The service providers will not have any involvement in the loading and unloading of items. Insurances will only cover your items in the event of a road traffic accident.

Equipment

All of our service providers are obligated to carry cargo securing equipment, such as blankets, straps and trolley.

Minimum Charge

- There is a two-hour minimum charge on all bookings. In case of exceed, our service providers charge every half hour thereafter at their respective half hourly rate (it is clearly marked on the booking confirmation)

- No time will be refunded under any circumstances for any hours booked irrespective of how many hours have been used.

Delays

- There may happens delays caused by unexpected circumstances out of control.

- We do not accept responsibility for any customer losses due the delays.

- In case of the delay the service provider is obliged to inform the customer in advance.

Declined bookings

- If for any reason your original service provider is unable to complete your booking, we organise replacement for the customer. Any replacement service will be of equivalent insurance level and vehicle size to the original service provider.

- If 2Men2Van LTD is unable to find a replacement who will cover the service, the customer will receive full refund for the booking.

Non-Attendance

In the highly unlikely event of the service provider does not arrive at the loading address as arranged. The client must report it immediately to the Customer Service.

Losses

We do not accept any responsibility for the goods left at the vehicle. Client is obliged to check the back of the vehicle before the service provider leave the unloading address.

Damages

Any damages need to be reported directly to the service provider within 24 hours of the completion of the booking. The claim will be dealt directly with the service provider. As they are individual company, and the compensation is a subject from their insurance policy. 2Men2Van LTD is unable to involve of that process. Please be informed that no responsibility will be taken if the client forces the subcontractor to transport or squeeze item.

Damage of Marble Goods

Marble goods, for example, tables or counter tops, will need to be protected by you prior to the booking. Although all service providers carry blankets, straps and a trolley as standard to move and protect your goods, marble is particularly fragile by nature and is liable to cracking and breaking due to sheer weight when moving. Over time, the integrity of marble is compromised, and it will be vulnerable to damage, even with the most careful moving techniques.

Ikea/Argos like products

Please note that 2Men2Van LTD and their service providers are not take any responsibility for any damage or breakages involving any Ikea or Argos products of any type. This is due to the poor standard of construction and the one-off build design of their products. Fiat pack furniture of any kind should not be disassembled as this can weaken the item and cause damage during transport.

Damage electronic devices

All electronic devices must be presented that are working in presence of service provider before loading then and checked again after unloading in presence of them as well.

Please note that 2Men2Van LTD and their service providers are not taking any responsibility for any internal damage to the electronic devices without clear evidence of external damage to the item. This will include but not exclusive to:

- Backlight “bleeding” - Colour banding or bleeding - Pixel damage

Due to the sensitive nature of the electronic devise equipment, without clear evidence of external damage, it is impossible to prove who caused any internal damage.

Adherence to terms

The customer agrees that within English law no complaints or testimonia Is on any platform maybe left against either the company or service provider if the complaint is clearly covered within our Terms and Conditions. The customer also agrees that should a complaint or claim be made that they allow good time for the company or service provider to answer the complaint or claim.

The customer agrees that should 2Men2Van LTD be unable to ascertain the truth behind a matter that the customer agrees to any moderation that the companies deems necessary to settle the claim.

In the event of a negative third party review being left, we reserve the right to answer that review on any social media channel we deem fit.

Complaints procedure

All complaints must be submitted within 7 days after the booking on written form (email: info@2men2van.co.uk). Our customer service team will do the best to respond as soon as possible.
